Eucharistic Adoration is a traditional form of prayer that involves exposition of the Blessed Sacrament displayed in a monstrance, in recalling Christ's invitation: "Come to me all you who labor and are burdened and I will give you rest." The faithful respond by committing one hour of adoration each week, or simply drop in as the Spirit calls. This time spent with the Lord helps to deepen our personal relationship with Christ and is a window of God's grace for the parish and others.

Baptism begins our life in the Church, it frees us from original sin, takes away any personal sins, and gives us grace to live as Christians. We are reborn of the water and the Spirit and share in the life of the risen Jesus.
This sacrament is one of the most important gifts we can give our children. It gives them a "new life" in water and Spirit and affirms them as members of the parish community. Baptismal preparation class gives parents a wonderful opportunity to review the sacrament and to receive support in living the Catholic faith within their family.
We have an active Gospel Discussion Group that meets seasonally at our Parish Center. Signup sheets are located in the Vestibule of the church prior to the start of Advent and Lent, or by contacting the Parish Office.

For Children 3 to 7 years of age, the Liturgy of the Word is to be offered during the 8:30 Sunday Mass. Children’s Liturgy involves listening to simplified Gospel texts, singing hymns and practicing liturgical gestures as well as some dialogue. Depending on parish scheduling in the hall, we will meet the first 3 Sundays of each month allowing the children to remain with their families for the 4th Sunday. This is not “Sunday School” but an opportunity to “Come and Join the Circle ... Come and Share God’s Word With Me” (Bernadette Farrell’s song). The children will return to Mass after the Creed.

In confirmation, we reaffirm for ourselves our baptismal promises, renew our commitment to the Catholic faith, and accept our responsibilities as followers of Jesus. During the celebration, The Bishop or Priest lays his hand on the head of the one to be confirmed and anoints the forehead with chrism (holy oil). These actions seal us with the gift of the Holy Spirit and signify our participation in Christ's ministry. Confirmation classes are offered every two years.
Extraordinary Ministers help distribute the Body and Blood of Christ to the congregation. The Lectors proclaim to the congregation the Sacred Scriptures during the Mass.
Extraordinary Ministers Schedules: Ministry temporarily suspended

Music is integral to the celebration of any liturgical event. The voice of the assembly is the primary voice in any liturgy. Singing unifies and deepens our communal prayer. Singing together, we become one body in Christ.
The gift of music is a treasure to be shared. The Music Ministry department at St. Agatha offers a wide variety of musical experiences for parishioners of all ages.

All parishioners are welcome to join the Respect Life Committee’s monthly activities which take place the second Sunday of each month the Rosary for Life is at Noon in the church. Sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation (also called Confession or Penance) and First Communion normally takes place in the second grade for children baptized in the Catholic Faith. Essential for the preparation of First Communion is regular worship in Sunday Mass, participation in religious education, and a commitment on the part of the parents to the religious education of their children after the first reception of Communion.
