Concerning the new arrangement in the Chapel of Adoration:
1. Question: Fr. Luan, where is Jesus? Please bring Jesus back!
Answer: The Catholic Church does not allow the lay people to close and open the Tabernacle on their own and so Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament cannot take place unless the priest himself does it. But Father cannot constantly go back and forth to uncover and cover the Monstrance! Also, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is forbidden by the Church unless there be at least two persons in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament. Furthermore, Jesus our Lord has not left the building. He is still there in the Tabernacle. This way, the Consecrated Host is safe and nobody could just simply walk in and walk away with the Monstrance in order to desecrate the Blessed Sacrament! Jesus is always there in the Tabernacle, and you see Him with the eyes of faith in any case! In the same way that you cannot help yourself to Holy Communion at Mass you cannot help yourself to the Exposed Monstrance! Jesus has not left the Building! He is there waiting for you to come and be with Him!
2. Question: Why wait until now, Father?
Answer: I have been waiting to correct the situation and now that we have been given a beautiful Tabernacle by Msgr. O'Connor at the Cathedral, I decided to go ahead and bring our Chapel into compliance with the universal law of the Catholic Church. The salvation of my soul depends on my obeying the law of the Catholic Church, especially when it has to do with the Mass and the preservation of the Most Blessed Sacrament, and all the things involved! Mr. Tim Eivers personally built the housing for the Tabernacle and he personally secured it the wall! And so now, our Blessed Lord is in safe keeping in our Chapel!
3. Question: Father, God could take care of Himself. He does not need nobody to take care of Him!
Answer: But we must be responsible to Him! It's all about human freedom, and human freedom could be the worst curse on us if we abuse it. It's all about human freedom and our responsibility before God!
4. Question: But . . .
Answer: That's enough for now. Good bye and God Bless!
